PGL, founded in 1957, operates at 24 outdoor activity centres across the UK, France and Spain. We are the UK’s leading provider of residential activity holidays and educational courses for young people.

PGL have a fantastic opportunity to join the team based at Caythorpe Court, our activity centre near Grantham, Lincolnshire.

Due to an unprecedented surge in our summer business, we’re looking for Activity Instructors to join the team in July 2018.

If you’re confident, engaging, enthusiastic and have experience of working/volunteering with children, we can train you to become a fantastic Activity Instructor.

Working as a PGL Activity Instructor is a unique working experience. We aim to provide an environment that not only allows our guest to have a great time and develop but also our staff. As an Activity Instructor, you will lead our groups in a number of exciting activity sessions. You’ll also be on hand to ensure our guests have a great time even when they are not participating in activities and energy levels are maintained… not an easy task but get it right and it is extremely rewarding.

Our Activity Instructor role is ideal for anyone who enjoys being active in the outdoors, has a passion for sport and is able to provide effective instruction, leadership, support and encouragement to a group of guests. This is the perfect job for anyone looking to work with children in the future, start a career in the outdoors or just have a great working experience whilst making new friends and working as a team.

We will take care of providing you with the training and support you need to be confident and successful in your role. Whilst working with PGL you will be offered many other training opportunities and gain a wide range of transferable skills that will look great on your CV when you do decide to move on, although a lot of our activity Instructors stay with us for many years.

We offer a competitive wage, paid monthly, meals and on-site accommodation, if required, training and staff uniform.

Successful applicants are required to undergo an enhanced DBS disclosure, which PGL will pay for. You need to possess the legal right to live and work in the UK to be considered for employment with PGL. PGL is committed to the principles of equality and diversity and welcome applicants from all sectors of the community.
